My pair of reds from Bobby went down about 10 days ago. Prior to this they slowed down on eating until they refused anything offered. I saw the male twice for about 30 minutes, but have not seen either one in the lsat 4-5 days.

Feeder fish from any store are not a good idea. Feeder fish have nearly no nutritional value and are more times than not loaded with disease.
Also remember feeder fish could be treated with medications as are most any tropical aquarium fish.

I have had these less then a week. This is the female. The male is still a bit skiddish, but is coming around.
As you can see, the female is already shedding.
Their temperment is what I expected it to be. They are somewhat skiddish.
I just take my time when trying to hold them. I have a decent size plastic bin I am using to feed them in. Once they have their fill I remove the leftover food and that is when I work with them. It seems to go a little...
