Hi, my 12" long tegu is only up for about an hour a day, he basks, eats around four crickets then burrows for the rest of the day. Is this hibernation? Thanks

I purchased a baby tegu about 4 weeks ago and at the moment he's about 12" long. Here's his schedule, he wakes up at about 10 am every morning terrorizes and reconstructs his whole enclosure, then go's to sleep around 1 pm under his five inches of substrate. Working everyday I never see him...
