Well taking me a little longer than I planned but Nidhogg still has a ways to go before outgrowing her current set up.
I'm still trying to find a suitable piece of glass for the front.
And I'm redesigning where the heat bulb is located but other than that have 2 coats of drylok...
No I do not. I havn't even made any more progress than the frame two walls and the floor. If I get some time tomorrow I'll make a list of the size of boards I used.
3 4'x8' pieces of plywood/melmine will work. I'm in the process of building a 5'x3'x2' enclosure and that is exactly what i have into it. I was able to get the two sides and the floor for the cage outt've one piece. And the back and top portions are gonna need a piece to themselves.

On another note. I am getting pretty near complete with my tegus future enclosure and...
I have had my tegu for a little over a week now. Now I read your not supposed to feed it in its cage but what to do if its burrowed or in its hide all the time? I have taken it from its hide twice to feed it and I was kinda wanting to see the little bugger but other than that it has been eating...
Well I'm getting started on my enclosure. I have a ways to go before Nidhogg can use it. She's (I'm guessing) tiny. Also do to size restrictions where her cage will be it will only be 5' x 3' x 2'.
The left side of the enclosure will be equipped with a standard light fixture for a ceramic...
I do have one question though. Is it nutricially beneficial to feed a tegu venison/deer meat. From what I've read it is fine feeding them ground turkey, chicken gizzards, etc. But what about deer?
Not gonna lie it was kinda spur of the moment. I seen this little columbian for sale and she caught my eye. I've had her for a couple days and she seemed pretty chill until today lol Spazzed out when I tried petting her. From what i've read I'm destined for a long and intersting time taming her...
Hello all. My names Luke, and just thought I'd introduce myself. I've been keeping herps for 5 years or so, and have always dreamed of having a large lizard. I've been soaking up as much as possible ever since I've started keeping herps. Well a couple days ago I took the plunge into large lizard...
