Okay thats what I figured, he is about a year old right now and spends most of his time burrowing. I found some guidelines on how to build the cage but im currently in the process of acquiring the building tools.
Ive had my red tegu for about 2 years now and maybe about 2 months ago, he all just quit eating and coming out of his burrow. Im just wondering if this is a normal amount of time for hibernation and will he not eat at all during this time. Also when should i expect him to come out of his burrow...
Hey guys, Im new here. I have a almost 2 year old Red Tegu and a 8 year old ornate uromastyx. Im currently trying to figure out if the cage I have the tegu in now is big enough to handle him. Let me know what you guys think, any help would be appreciated.
