    It's that peice of glass, but inside of a door for the front or side of your house is all. That is indeed a 15 lite door though, count the squares. ;)

    question on mercury bulb.

    I think you're safe at 30". If it makes you feel better I used a 125 watter on my tegu when it was a hatching from around 2' away and it's grown up just fine, so I see no harm as long as it's 12" from contact with the substrate or basking spot and no more then 48" away.
