I've been field herping local fauna since I was a little boy. A couple years after being discharged from the Marine Corps, I began to rediscover my interest. I started off keeping and breeding budgerigars, which led to keeping and breeding tarantulas and other invertebrates. In the past year or two, I've began to keep a plethora of geckos and dwarf monitor species. I've always been a big fan of tegus, and would eventually be interested in owning/captive breeding some. I'm the father of a 3 year old girl. Layla's always following my around during feedings and cleanings. She's very intrigued by my hobby, and I'm eager for her to learn.
