Well guys we just had our first baby. and unfortunately Zula, our golden tegu, can no longer get our undivided attention. We ask if anybody would take care of our baby tegu. we hate to see her go, but we know its for the best.

Hey well im very sad to say i have to sell our colombian tegu...we do not want to but we are having a lil girl and are afraid we cannot take care and give her our attention like we should. she very calm and beautiful...she is about 10 month old. if anyone is interested u can message us....thanks
we were looking for tegus, and wanted an Argentinean. then we went to a reptile show and saw all the columbians. we picked em up looked and paid attention to see personality. some were real jittery and skidish. but then we saw Zula. we held her and she stayed still in our hands. licked us and...
well thanks for the help. Zula seems to be doing better. no shaking of the legs or anything like that. we up the uvb to a 10 turkey instead of ham and mice twice a week :)
well we took out a bit of her hiding bedding through out the cage, so she's been coming out a bit more and getting more uv's. We have noticed there is NO more twitching :) We also gave her her first pinky; what a sight! But one more question.. How often should we be giving her mice?
ok sounds good...sorry for the delay on the reply...well the light is actually inside the cage not over the screen shes about 8 to 10 inches from it.....what will be a good diet for her?
oh thanks....we just got him...were new too the whole tegu world...we are use to beardies and i must say....very different lol. but we are enjoying the new challenge :-D
