We are a group of Highschool Researchers based out of New Jersey, looking to extend our pre-existing lizard project into Tegu's. Specifically we aim to look at genetic differences between the Argentine Tegu and the Red and Blue Tegu's to determine what has caused the change in color, and what the genetic component is. We are hoping to make connections here with other tegu enthusiasts. Additionally we hope to be able to acquire skins that have been shed by Tegu Lizards, in order to collect a wide range of DNA samples to aid in our understanding of Tegu's.
