Today i noticed my red tegu had 4-6 pieces of blue aquarium gravel in her feces. The gravel would have had to been eaten from the bottom of her water bowl, which was there to keep it from being too deep for her. This is the first time I've seen this happen and there isn't much info online. It...

I have seen this. Funny thing Is that a few weeks ago I was talking to someone and casually mentioned that I had a tegu, her face looked shocked and told me that she saw on animal planet that tegus eat dogs and attack people. I think she changed her mind after meeting the "vicious" animal.
