10.0 lighting uvb

hey guys I am interested in getting a 10.0 high output uvb lamp to go with my other lamps. My question is what is the typical distance off the enclosure floor for maximum absorption ? Also does anyone know if the common t5 hoods will house a 10.0 bulb? Thanks so much!
