2 Years ago, my parents went on a trip to Peru. During their trip they traveled all over South America. One of their stops was at the beautiful  Iguazu falls. There, they got to see some amazing creatures and breath taking sites, but one caught my dads attention that he loves to relay to me.

After viewing the waterfalls they had a picnic area for everyone to sit and enjoy a lunch. Well my dad recalls these " Giant Lizards " were coming up to people and stealing their food! He was not afraid ( while raising me, he was introduced to all manner of creatures ) and was laughing at the people running away. He told me the Lizards were calm and friendly and he fed them while others in their group fled at the lizards haha. He loved the lizards got a kick out of how friendly they were, and how people ran from them.

About 7 months ago I showed my father a picture of an Argentine Black and White Tegu and he confirmed that that was the lizard feasting with the people.

I've asked my parents for pictures of their vacation so pics should be incoming soon! Hope you enjoy!
