Does anyone have an adult Firebelly and does it still have the Fired-Up belly? I had a Reptile Shop person tell me the red goes away as they age. Just curious. Pictures please :)
Thanks!

the one in my avatar, Rosita, has a fire engine red belly that has remained so since she was younger. I have another female that picked up a light orange flush to her belly. I've posted pics of them before. I'll look for them.

It is a heritable trait that, the genetics of which has yet to be worked out.

Right from my camera. This and avatar taken this summer. She's looked this way for now almost three years. This is my favorite color morph although any are pretty.

Wow! She's awesome looking!!! Thanks so much, that goes a long way as to what I order ... just hope I can hold off until the weather here in Colorado warms up and Tegusonly has a hatchling or at least very young Firebelly. Thanks again.
