Hey, I recently purchased a argentine tegu female she is 2 feet long and an avid eater. I was told she is 6 months old is 2 feet realistic for 6 months? Could over feeding speed her growth?
Looks like she could be developing some jowels, and faster growth could mean she is really a he. Over feeding can speed up growth, but usual 6 month old tegus are anywhere from 15"-40" but usually closer to 20"-30" I believe but please someone correct me if I am wrong so I may learn! Pretty GU regardless
I can't see any 'beads' and I don't see any big jowels starting yet. Hard to say but from what I can see either a just young male or a female. Yours is longer than mine at 6 months but.... time will tell.
