It is that time of the year again when the market is flooded with imported tegus. The animals are up on ads on KS right now, but we all know they are not free of parastes and the cheaper price does not mean a good deal. The ads say CB tegus, they are not from breeders in the US and are not a good deal. The ads say 79.00, then add a shipping fee and vet bill to treat them for parasites, not a good deal at all. I just wanted to warn everyone before they fall into that trap.


Many will come to me, just as they do every year asking about what to do about the sick tegus they got. I will be the one to break the news that they are loaded with parasites and a vet will be needed.
