I've had Kaiju since April and since the very day I've had her, she has this strange musky smell coming off the very back of her neck at the base of her skull. It is not from her mouth. The ears might have a bit of an odor, but its hard to tell. I can tell you that the source is this isolated spot/area. If she gets alarmed, she absolutely releases a small burst of it. I can't find a dang thing about this. Would anyone know anything about what is possibly going on?

Interesting. I'm not sure. Could be a glandular thing that just happens as a defense mechanism. If it is, it doesn't happen very often as I'm not familiar with it. You say there's noticeable change on the surface of her skin?

No not at all. Just a small burst of odor when shes excited. The odor is in that spot all of the time, but its very faint.
