Not only do they burrow, they seem to like to redecorate and move the "furniture" around as well. My Red, EVA is never quite satisfied with her burrow and has to dig holes just to see what is down there. Maybe it is a girl thing...LOL
Our Red Tegu Owen the past couple of days has been knocking over his plant and digging big holes(spraying dirt everywhere,including in his water dish). I have 3 theories,1) Trying to burrow. 2) Looking for food, but i feed him 2-3 times a day. 3) Or he is trying to make space in his tank, but we will be moving him into his new enclosure soon. Any thoughts?
