i am building an enclosure to house my snakes. the carpet pythons portion is 3'x3' and the snake is a bit over 12 inches. would it be an issue if i put her in the new cage? i will have several hides for her. and a place for her to climb. i figure its ok because in the wild they have infinant space.

It could be an issue since it is so big and he is so small. You could try it out, and if he goes off feed for more than a month, put him in a smaller cage. or you could try feeding in a smaller cage. i would also have alot of fake plants to clib on, and give some cover with the fake leaves. just try it out, and if it doesn't work, then give a smaller cage. good luck.
