I am trying to rehome chevy but I think if I can place my othewill be able to keep him. My husband hates my rhino and my savannah and since he is doing everything for them and he does not want to. I have a friend who can take care of Tonka if it gets to much for my husband to take care of him but he loves my tegus so he is doing a good job.

I have a health issue right now and I am having a hard time keeping up with all the care all my reptiles need. I get very tired when I exert much energy I am hoping they hibernate ut they are as active as they have always been. I am the only one in the house who takes care of them my husband is helping but he works alot so it is hard. He likes the tegus but hates the other ones and a rhino and a savannah need alot of care. My tegus are like my dogs so I think if I downsize keeping them both is not an issue. Chevy has come so far as far as handling he slept in my pillow case last night I did not even know he was there. I put my hands under my pillow and i could feel him inside.

They all look fantastic, I love your extreme. I know you've mentioned having a friend help out but is there a reptile place near by (that you trust) that might be able to watch them for a bit? I'm still trying to plan out what I'm going to do after my shoulder surgery. If I were near by I'd help!! Hopefully you'll have a fast and healthy recovery. I am glad that you are trying to put their needs first though, I really really hope it works out for you.

The only place near me is zoo creatures in NH and they have a full house. Boarding them for a few months would e out of my price range I don't think we have anything like that around here. The two I worry about are my savannah and my rhino without handling they kind of go backwards with the taming. At least my tegus can roam around the house my dogs would kill my rhino if he was out.

Nothing like that around here NERD in NH ut they have a full house. My rhino and my savannah are the big concern my tegus can free roam so they are not cooped up. My savannah and my rhino cannot.

If you dont mind me asking, why does your husband like the tegus, but not the other lizards?
