I don't have vents in a few of my cages, noticed a tad bit of mold growth and so I just screwed a few holes in it with the drill to let out minimal air and its been great since then. Whatever you choose, have the vents low that way heat wont escape as easily. and good thing about the ones you have is that you can open and close them.
