how many other people bring their tegus to schools and other educational events? i bring elmo all the time! i have one this sat but she wants to hibernate.... shes goin to have a rude awaking lol i cant wait for elmo to get big so all the kids will b in "awe"... then tho our events are not show and tell, i love to show off my pretty girl :) how do yr tegus do in the real world?

I do outreach events with my reptiles all the time. Kodo is very much used to being out in public and being leashed. He's one of the stars of my herp society's outreach program. I don't let him walk around on the ground, though, don't want someone to step on him.

i dont let elmo on the ground either ;) ever bring him out when hes hibernating?
