i got peed and pooped on today by my tegu, i was just trying to watch tv with her. eww nasty baby of mine, now shes running free in the snake room lol.... whats the worse potty story u have with yr tegu?

No tegu ones YET but on mother's day I was wearing a pretty pink dress and sitting outside in the sun with mary(bearded dragon) happily basking on my lap. She starts to 'wiggle ' so I'm thinking "how cute! I think she's wanting those dragonflies buzzing around us ". NOPE she lets one go the size of my WHOLE LAP...nasty multi-textured blob of stench all over my lap. Omg I freaked. Another one was I was snuggling with snickers(ball python) in my bed watching movies...he likes to sit on me or crawl around the covers. I feel something cold on my back so I'm like "ok...he got his tail up under my shirt " NOPE! He was above the sheet! But had peed an ungodly amount all over the back of my shirt and pajama pants! Plus left a huge white log next to me under the covers!!!! Ewwwww is right. And we all know how snakes smell when they get rid of those nice big rats. God!!! They are so lucky I love them so much. Haha.

I've been crapped on so many times, or stepped in a fresh pile so many times, it doesn't even phase me anymore. THe first few times it made me puke (because as we all know, tegu crap is literally toxic waste, it smells that bad). At this point I just sigh, shake my head, and go scrub my toes. That stuff is like tar trying to get it off.

This morning my boy left me a big puddle on my linoleum. This was AFTER he had already done his business in the bathtub, like I wanted him to.

Nothing wakes you up quite as much as stepping in a warm puddle of tegu piss.

I seriously have never seen niles poop. I have only found it in his enclosure and scooped it up. Didn't seem as gross as the bearded dragon's was. But perhaps because niles is young and I only had him awake for a short time before he decided to hibernate... thanks for the warning of what I'm possibly in for. Heh heh

lol...no one warned me before I got my tegus. First time my tegus laid one of those bombs? DEAR GODS I was so sick.

And yes, tegu farts are horrible, and hilarious. That wheezing sound always makes me cringe.

When our female ball python craps it sounds nasty.squeaky/whistly/splattery....can't describe. And looouuuuudddd. For some reason the male never sounds like that. :/
