It's hard to get the right substrate for these little guys. :p Where they live the ground is very hard which is hard to copy in the terrarium. But sand/soil works pretty well for their needs.


I don't know what kind of soil you got in the states. But it should be something that doesn't have so much fertiliser and other stuff in it.


I use a special soil that is used for cactus. I'm sorry I can't help you out more.
