Today it's pythons and monitors...tomorrow crop eating tegus?
Greetings Herpers!
Special interest groups are petitioning the FWC and Governor to place a BAN on ROC's in the state of Florida. These SIGs have no stake in reptiles or our industry, and yet they seek to harm it. You ARE stakeholders holders, which is why we need you to let the FWC know what we think of this action. Even if you are not a Florida resident, you need to realize that this would impact the nation since all ROC's passing through Florida, as well as those produced in Florida, would be affected. The Reptile Industry has worked very hard with FWC and members of the Florida legislature to craft regulations and statutes that would protect our beautiful environment, ensure human and animal safety and ensure the ability to pursue our hobby and business. Please go to the link below, and if you support the action recommended, then take the time to sign the email and hit submit.
We have confidence that the FWC commissioners and Florida Governor want the best thing done for the animals, the public and the industry.
Please send this message to others on your e-mail list.
PLEASE go to this link and send an email to FWC and the Governor...<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://usark.org/campaign.php?id=8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://usark.org/campaign.php?id=8</a><!-- m -->
