Well this has not been an easy choice for me. My pup is going to need some vet work here the next week and well the wallet is hurting and so is my time. I think selling one of my tegus will help with the money issues. If I do not sell him in the next week or for the asking price I will simply keep him.

His name is Rio, he is a year and a half old (born Oct 09). He is just under 3 feet long and appears very small for a male for his age. HE IS NOT TAME!! He has been an on going project to get him to trust me. We have good days and bad days. He has not biten me but I would not put it past him. Besides his tmperment he seems in good health. Eats like crazy and not picky at all. Eye sight seems good, last time i was able to check had all toes and nails. I'd say a 1/4 inch of the tail got bitten off when Bosco was checking him out one day when the two were free roaming.

I will NOT ship. Sorry, long story but its just not possible right now. I will be in San Diego for the reptile show but will be leaving for the show on Tuesday of next week, so if you are interested i would need to know before than.

I'm hoping to get $300 for him. Again he is a blue and i'm 99.99% sure his a male.

I will not be posting him on Fauna as i hope he will go to a tegu knowledgable home. Please post here or e-mail with any questions. The photos are from last weekend.

Hey thanks all. Good news is my pup is doing better, but still think it would be best to lower the large lizard load. Turns out the pup got a fox tail in his ear, but they are not sure why he is vomiting so frequently and they say one of his knees is going... so long road ahead.

Riplee i will try and get more pics but those are the most rescent ones i have. Like i said he is not tame and does not like the camera. I have some older ones if you would like. I'm away from home right now so its gonna take a day to get those to you.

 I just went through the fox tail in the ear thing with my Papillon Panini last month. Luckily it was just sitting in front and didn't puncture it.

Do you pretty much feed your dog at the same time everyday? I ask because depending on the dog and type of food you feed,.. sometimes they vomit when not fed on time.

Powder's like that sometimes,.. I know quite a few other people on another forum who's dog are the same way. Higher quality and or high fiber types of foods can sometimes cause it.

His a beagle so he eats around the clock if he could. But yes they both get fed at the same time everyday. He also has a slow down bowl so not to eat too fast, and his food is easy to digest. They think it might be an ineritation... who knows. He goes to the normal vet tomorrow so we'll see.

I love my lizards but if it came down to it I would be doing the same thing. I really hope it all works out for you and your furry friend. Hopefully he can make a full recovery. Poor baby :(
