I have my 1 year old B&W i got from Tegu Tera, but right now I lost my job and have to move to a smaller apartment that does not allow pets at all so i have to give her up :(

It needs to be around the Albuquerque, NM area because I dont have the money to ship her + i wouldnt begin to know how.

Im not looking for any money I just want her to have a good caring home

Wow. That's rough.

How is the tegu's temperment? What have you been feeding it? Is it for sure a female? Got any pictures?

She's really mellow, can freak out sometimes if spooked but doesnt freak out when held or anything.

She eats chicken breast and mice occaisonally. I try feeding her ground turkey but she does not like it. I offer her some vegetables with her meat but never eats more than 1-2 bites.

And the only recent pic i had is of her in my other post

Still looking for a home.. Would really prefer local or someone that can pick up due to financial constraints and not being familiar with shipping a trgu

I called some reptile places in your area and even spoke to a guy that was familiar with you and your Tegu. I was trying to find a place you could take it to and they could do all the packaging and shipping for you and have them bill me, so you would have no out of pocket expenses. I did not have any luck. The businesses could not do it due to the restrictions of your state and no one would do it as a private individual as well due to the restrictions in your state. So it sounds like any shipping at all of Tegus from your state is not possible. I may be wrong, just going by what I was told from reptile businesses in your state. Sorry I tried.

Check out http://www.shipyourreptiles.com/ I have had great report with them and I would gladly pay the shipping fees to have her shipped to me and take good care of her. But I saw someone else interested in her, so I don't want to come in a boughguard someone else s hopes.

you can sometimes strike a deal with place that sells pets to ship them for you for a small fee. Try Petco or petsmart for one. Ask the managers because the employees actually don't have clue about animals in any way shape or form
