Freezing Snails?

I can purchase live snails meant for human consumption at a grocery store I know. Thing is, it's a little far away.

Could I buy the live snails in bulk and then freeze them? Know how much nutrients will be lost?

Any thoughts?

I would think you could freeze them just fine ..

I wonder if crayfish would work as well ???
