had an emergency vet visit this am

Storm had a small bone lodged in his lower jaw(most likely from chicken necks) so we had to make a trip to the vet, lets just say no one can come near him at the moment, he is livid, and he is showing it, he stared at me with his mouth wide open like i dare you to come pet me, i know it hurt like hell, he has a small hole in his gum tissue, on another note i learned something about tegus i never knew they actually have two sets of teeth, the small ones we can clerly see and another ser almost completely hidden on the side of their gums and they are huge, looks like something you wouls see on a dog or cat,, well he is doing great, or as well as can be expected, gotta get this oral solution to keep his mouth from getti infected,, btw i got to see just how strong storm really is, it took me and a vet tech to hold him down, and we really struggled doing that lol i will never try to hold him down solo ever!!!!!

Oh no! I hope Storm has a speedy recovery. If you get a chance, take a pic of the second set of teeth but please don't stress yourself or your tegu over it.

Thats pic idk if i can get lol i only seen them when the vet pried his mouth open, thanks for the well wishes, i definitely try to avoid anything that stress them out unless absolutely necessary
