i just got 2 black and white columbian tegus and one of them is twitching bad and keeps opening its mouth i dust there crickets with the calcium d3 from flucker so i know its not calcium deffenciency (my spelling aint that great) its constintly *86-88 degrees in there i know i need more heat but could that be the problem i dont know what to do for the poor lil guy.

Do you have a uvb/uva bulb in there for basking. the basking temps should be between 100 and 110 degrees. Please go buy a power sun murcury bulb. it must have the UVB/UVA in it. Twitching can be the first signs of MBD

When you say "twitching bad" do you mean its entire body (seizure-like) or just its head? As if it's trying to get something out of the mouth or struggling to breathe? Do you see excess mucous/drool, anything like that?
