HELP

My tegu has had stuck shed for a few weeks and I can't get it off! Several warm baths and high humidity and even shed aid doesn't help! It looks like his tail is being restricted with how tight the shed looks now! What do I do?! Should I take him to a vet?

I'm trying to find a vet that will actually be helpful with reptiles. I don't know of any here...

I just bought my first Tegu this past week, and am adjusting to HIS adjustment. He's an Argentine B&W, 24" long and fairly stocky. In a 200 gallon aquarium, 72x24x31, heat bulb, UVL, hides to go under, cypress substrate, etc.
Working on his attitude, gotta get some work gloves tomorrow.....he's scratching the crap out of my arms. But we'll work it out.

Sounds like a healthy tegu lol my Delta scratches me up but only because he loves to cuddle and climbs up me any chance he gets and scratches me up on accident
