Hey guys, just wondering if tegus just one day don't wake up? Last night was the first night the outside temp got below 50F I do have my windows open in my room. Logan has basking lamp, and UTH on side of the tank. He always is up at 9:15 am, and ready to eat. Today I had to go to work so threw 2 hoppers in with Logan and with my colombian (he ate his), I just got home from work, and no sign that my extreme woke up today, I found his tail buried in he substrate, and touched it, normally he would crawl out as soon as I did that. he just burrowed deeper and very slowly. So long story short, will I see a decline in activity or is he just going to sleep? He is a 2011 Varnyard Extreme. Thanks guys.

My guy went right down. I didnt even notice him slowing down, so it suprised me when he stopped coming out. It really sucks lol. I was finally making some progress with the little guy.

I am guessing mine is going soon too. I know the past couple of days have been huge for me. He actually let me pick him up lol. Walked him over to the bathroom, and let him soak, after a while he hated it haha. Used a pillowcase to get him back. Past two days he ate out of his cage, and he's been much more calm in his cage. He's down to the two fuzzies instead of four. Not sure if it's stress or he's slowing down lol.

thanks for responding guys, I think I over reacted LOL, I'm putting off as it just got too cold in my room that night, the day after I posted, he was up and at it as usual. Still eating and drinking, and of course flipping his water bowl over every 10 minutes (i just noticed he did it again).

I thought so too, mine got right up a day later still drinking, still eating filling in his water bowl and knocking it over. He went into the entertainment center, knocked around my 360 like it was a stuffed animal. Very funny gu. He tries to burrow under his paper food plate lol.
