How to get my rescue off of rats ???

I have a 3 year old rescue . Seems to only go for thawed rats . trying to get her into liver and stuff but wont seem to even care ?? What things can i do ? Thought about putting the rat on some raw liver .. maybe she would get the taste ?

rats are good eating try getting baby quails or chicks whole foods are the way to go. Maybe try cutting up the rat and mixing some ground turkey in with it

It would be good to try introducing some non meat items into its diet as well, have you tried any fruit? It was probably only fed rats until you got it so they get fixated sometimes. Keep trying new things, if it's a healthy weight or overweight you can withhold rats for a while, other foods will look more interesting then.

Well i tried beef liver as my local breeder suggested as he said he hasnt heard of a tegu that turned it down . But no luck . But as soon as she see a rat she freaks so ill have to try the ground turkey . Thanks !

Also tried fruits and veggies but i dont think she was ever offered it so has no want for it .
