my red tegu who is 7 months old has been fine but not eatin as well as i think she should and today sumthing weird is happening to her eyes its seems they puff out and alil red ooze comes out and goes back in i do not know wat this means or is please help

Do you have pictures? If something is ozzing out of its eyes I would definitely take it to the vet..

i over exaggerated about the oozing im jus freakin out but her eye lids puff out and they are red i read it might be her eye lids trying to shed ive just never seen it befor

Are you using a coil UVB bulb? Those can cause serious eye damage.

I would make a vet trip just to be on the safe side! but it does sound like he is getting light damage..

i am not using a coil i have her in a 40 gallon tank wit a 30'' t5 low profile double bulb fixture. is it cause its the desert series ? i was using a normal coil buld but switched to that doo u think the double low prow is too much for her?

i was using eco earth but i took her to the vet she is fine just had substrate in them which was making them puff out i swiched her substrate

i switched to jungle mix which is less dry and has mulch like stuff
