I went to great lengths months ago talking about Eva my imported almost yearling Red. I have noticed that she is getting a bit jowly at nine months. I can't feel the buttons yet but, as she was wandering about the bathroom running errands and acting very busy on me and off me, I looked at my ankle stretched out in front of me and what did I see? A bit of a sperm plug. It was very white, had no chalkiness like urates and I caught her marking after her bath. Being the incredibly intelligent person that I know you all think I am, I deduced that I was wrong about the sex of my companion. Imagine that, Dana was wrong....you are supposed to be laughing now.

Well all's well that ends well as the Immortal Bard said. All I have to do now is rename him and buy him a NFL team hat and t-shirt.

Oh boy am I embarrassed...I will post pictures in the next couple of days.

It happens to the best of us my friend! I have yet to completely be able to sex my Gu. If He ( or she ) ends up being a female, I guess I am just going to have to change his name.

HAHAHA. Shame on you for not looking me up when you passed through!
I don't which is worse, your male monitor laying eggs or my little girl dropping a sperm plug on my foot.

I just assume mine is a male....I really have no idea, and to be honest either way, I'm good....cause his[?] name has gradually changed to GuGu/GooGoo as I have a habit of creating nicknames.

But I do know the feeling. My 2007 Reeve's turtle, "Peter" recently laid infertile eggs. 5 years is too long for me to rename him lol. I can sex native turtles like it's nothing, but these asian ones fool me.
