Our 1 1/2 year old Chacoan has seemingly injured him self today. He was fine a couple of hours ago I seen climb out of his hide and relax under the lights for a while. Called him out for his dinner and when he climbed out of his enclosure he is dragging his right front leg. No signs of injury or swelling but the leg seems like it is dislocated at the shoulder. I can only think he got it caught and pull so hard he pull his shoulder out. We have no vets available till the morning. Anyone ever experienced an injury like this before with their Tegu. Not sure what to do with him till morning other than take the few things in his enclosure out to eliminate further injury, any other suggestions would be appreciated.
