i feel really stupid for asking, but i'd rather be safe than sorry

Pinkie mice are really small, she could probably take a fuzzy or hopper mouse. Pinkies are pretty much useless anyway, they would still need to be dusted with calcium.

No need to feel stupid. As James said, you can probably do a fuzzy or hopper. Pinkies don't have much nutritional value.

This will probably sound really gross but if you are ever worried about it you can always cut up the frozen prey item.

Well as far as nutrition goes, mice dont have much of anything except bones and fur to begin with. Id try a small pinky RAT versus a mouse, the rats have the most nutrition (meat, protein). But based on the most recent pics you posted it looks like a pinky rat would be fine, a large pinky rat is about the size of a hopper mouse sometimes smaller depending on where you go. If your in doubt bring your guu to the pet store and ask them in person if you know they know what they are talking about. Also your guu looks like it needs to shed bad from the pics, dont know if it has already by now but thats just what I can tell. Let me know if you have issues getting it to shed theres tons of tricks to help with it.

I'm cool with cutting up live prey :)

And yes! She needs to shed :/ and I've done a lot. I give her a bath everyday.
She had some shed coming off her toes. I messed with it until it came off but that's it :/ Im going to buy shed-ease probably tonight

You dont need to buy anything like that, buy some cod liver oil and mix a teaspoon of that in with the next time you feed him/her...best with putting it with ground turkey. I personally use it when feeding a rat, I put the rat in the bag and then shake it up with the oil on it and the fur soaks it up. Stuff works great for shedding and its just in general a good thing to do once a week. 1 tspn a week with whatever food. Bobby told me about this a couple years ago and it literally works like magic...along with soaking the tegu of course and keeping your humidity between 70-80%
