I believe that the bent fingers are from some sort of impact and likely have nothing to do with shed. The patch by the shoulder looks like a shed problem. Good product to try is Puriya Wonder Balm (Amazon). It's expensive, but has worked well for my male for different issues. Way cheaper than a vet bill. But - if that shoulder patch starts to grow, I'd get him to the vet. Hard to tell by the photo, but it doesn't look good.
