Moving to different state

So I'm getting out of the military here in a few weeks, and moving from NY to NC and my household goods (including my tegu's huge enclosure) will be getting packed up by movers on the 9th of April. Delivery date is projected to be April 21st (12 days without enclosure). I'll be moving everything I can fit in my car like clothes, computer, etc. and Hades (my 'gu) will be riding shotgun on the road trip (travel time will be a day with a break here and there). Just wondering if anyone's been through something similar whether it's been with moving or just recreational travel and/or had tips for keeping Hades as healthy and unstressed as I possibly can during the move.

When taking mine in the car I just place them in a large duffle bag with a few towels inside for them to bury in. Keeps them totally happy. Occasionally take them out for interaction on the road to keep them entertained but I would be careful. My gu's are very chill and don't panic/run.
