I am going to be moving after Christmas. I already have all of furniture moved except Gummy's cage am moving that no the 26th. Gummy is starting to hibernate but is still kind of random on his sleeping, some days he's up all day and others he's in bed by noon. We are moving his cage in the back of our car and i have an inverter in my car to plug his lights in if needed. I just want to know if i should keep him in his cage for the move or if he should be out of his cage in a bin or something

How far are you moving Gummy? And how big is he? He'll probably be most safe in a bin with some padding and a heat lamp/mat. If you leave him in his cage, things may shift around during driving and hurt him...
Just my thoughts on it...

^Agreed. I've used Rubbermaid tubs and/or pillow cases for moves. My biggest concern would be something toppling over.
