I myself have 1 3year old male who is housed alone in  a 6ft ish cage and I have 2young Reds who are about the same size they are about 1yr who are housed together . I am about to build 2 6ft stackable cages this weekend to seperate the young pair. I will let them mingle socially in my open house. but I have heard to many stories about tegus being a little aggressive to one another and dont want to risk that with my group. I have 2 different friends who have both had multiple tegus housed and both of them had issues with aggression towards one another, one had a chunk bit off the rear by the tail / leg area and required vet assistance and the other had two that where housed together hangging out in a tub and had a similar issue. can you get away with multiple gUs being housed? Im sure you can.. but there will alwayws be that chance. I myself personaly dont want to deal with a "what if".

Right now my 3yr old male is about as puppy dog as it gets, hes the best snuggle buddy. I wouldnt trade my gUs for anything,
