That is an awesome place to start. I really suggest reading all of those links/threads. It covers just about all the basics.
Are you using a uvb bulb? If you have any pictures of your set up we can give you lots of input and tell you what looks awesome and what areas could be improved.
Let us know if you have any questions after reading the link I posted.

http://www.tegutalk.com/showthread.php?tid=6452#axzz1cwdprEVx theres a food list.
Humidity should be fairly high - I dont let mine get below 50%
And cage - if he's a little guy thats okay - once he gets full grown your gonna need at least a 6 ft. long cage.

If this statement was true, you wouldn't be here asking these questions. Your going to need a different UVB bulb, the 5.0 isn't adequate. The carpet is terrible for them, they like to dig and burrow, he can't do neither in carpet. What are the temps and humidity in the cage? All meat should be fed raw.

Lol he was simply saying if you did a ton of research like you stated you wouldnt have to ask the most simple of questions such as humidity levels and temps. If you have the proper substrate (I use a cypress/reptisoil blend) then you will have no problem maintaining proper humidity levels as long as you soak it down and rotate it. As for your UVB bulb go with a 10.0 not a 5.0, or simply switch your uva/uvb light source to one bulb such as the powersuns, 100w should do for your size cage.

Yeah i know i need some new bedding and as for humidity level i have seen so many different recomended levels i didnt know which would be right and as for uvb i just found out the other day wich uvb would be right now i already have a 10.0 uvb bulb coming and it should be here today and i also have some bedding coming today as well now as for the power sun 100 watt bulb i cannot afford a light bulb that is 50 dollars but i think the light bulb i have on him is a pretty good one which is a repti halogen uva 100 watts bulb

$50 isnt bad, you get what you pay for and the powersuns should last you a year before its replacing time, and if it doesnt they have a deal where you can mail in the bulb/reciept to show date of purchase if it burns out in just a few months and they should replace it because they guarentee a year of use. But that being said as long as you have that uvb 10.0 and the 100w uva keeping the basking temps up to par then theres no need to change anything...i just like the convienence of the two for one bulb and Ive never had issues with them. As for humidity if you havent already read somewhere else, I keep it between 65-80. As long as you keep it moist in there and underdeath the substrate, plus a bath every now and then, and cod liver oil once a week, u should have no issues with shedding.

It does not matter what raw turkey. But I like to get the fresh over the counter turkey to buy by the pound. Then what I do is add a tablespoon of cod liver oil per pound and vitamin supplements mix it all together, separate them into little balls. And voila!!! Ready to go turkey balls in the freezer ready for consumption. And I have not had to go shopping for Odin in over 3 months
