Hiya guys just wanted to tell I just got a baby gold so now Cookie has a play mate ^^ they are atm in my medium cage but im gonna move them to a bigger one to we got our new one which will be made by a friend

Here is the 2 of them ^^

He havent ate yet but I guess it takes some days for him to get used to it all .

My BF was scared that Cookie was gonna make a snack of him lol.
It is so fun to see that Cookie was that small ones <3

Nice looking Colombian you have there.

Once he gets used to his new surroundings, his appetite will get the best of him and he'll be eating.

Just keep in mind he might eat right away or it could be several days before he touches any food - it's anyone's guess at this point - but he'll come around.

Congratulations on the new addition .

On another note,.. they really shouldn't be together. If anything happened where Cookie didn't want to be bothered (food involved or not) the Colombian wouldn't stand a chance.

On top of that I really can't say this enough, Quarantine new pets before they come into contact or even close proximity with your own.

Not doing so is just setting yourself up for something to happen. You can't always see when they're sick or carrying something that can be passed on to you or your other pets until it's too late,.. so why take that chance.

yep quarantine is a must. i learned the hard way a few years ago. First sickness(parasites), then my smaller guy lost it's leg which led to it's life.

Im gonna buy a terrarium but now they have already been together so does it even help?
