I was just watching it on the news yesterday since we had a local case. I'm glad I don't feed mine much turkey but at the same time there's some sitting in the freezer I'm concerned about. But there's no recall because they haven't been able to trace it back to a specific source.


Since a certain amount of Salmonella is allowed in poultry more so than other foods. It definitely gives you something to think about since we feed it raw and cooking it is the only way to reduce the amount of it. 


You can either stop feeding turkey or continue to use it but less often and reduce the amount. Giving the body time to cope and keep the amount in check if the food is affected.
