We have two baby tegus and one seems to always be sleeping and when he does come out he closes his eyes a lot ... We were just concerned and wanted to know if this was normal?

What type of bulbs? Temps? Humidity? Substrate?

He is probably being submissive to the other one. Separate them and see if it helps.

We have forest moss and some wood chips we also have a UVB light 10.0, 120 volt sun glow, there basking spot is 100 and the ambient I like 80 and we spray twice a day to keep the humidity up... The other one does seem to be a little more dominant, we haven't tried to separate them yet. Could it be that ninja(the one thats closing his eyes) is a girl and dojo(more active one) is a boy?
