You have to post enough and have enough time on the forum.

The reputation points are point given by other members, if that is what you are referring to. The title under your name changes based on post count I believe.

As your post count increases, your title will change under your name. The rep points, as James said, are given by other members.

Yeah I definitely don't pay very much attention to the reputation points and like everyone else has been saying the title changes with your number of posts
