I'd be careful about doing this with your tegu and introduce him VERY slowly to this type of activity if you choose to do so. I know I see tegus at reptile shows and such that are very tame and chill and not disturbed by a lot of activity but I know it took a lot of time and patience for them to be OK with it. Even though they seem OK you just never know how they're reacting internally...
