I'm sorry if this is in the wrong general forum topic (I haven't been posting on this site until recently ^^ ), and am generally new to caring for Tegus, so please bare with me. I'll give a little background, for the sake of the chat.
I have an Argentine Red Tegu. My boyfriend and I have been calling him/her "Dino-Dog" (hence the username), due to a little inside joke about my friend's old Tegu at a reptile shop I go to (small business, but beautiful, healthy, animals). His son referred to Tegus as "Dinosaur Dogs" , so we decided to shorten it to "Dino Dog" when we bought our own lol.
I've had experiences with a few reptiles (Bearded dragons, leos, kingsnakes, water dragons, and uromastyx), but still am not very good with the whole "Sexing" thing.
I'm sorry for the poor quality of these pictures, but if anyone has any idea what gender my Tegu could possibly be (Am prepared to change the name to a female one), I'd be appreciative. Sorry again for my chatty-ness!
(He/she is about 10 months old, I'm not sure about the size at the moment, I don't want to measure him/her while he's/she's in the hide)
Thanks to anyone who can help me out!
