shedding

my tegu sheds her body fine, but her tails never does. i had 3 sheds on it when i started to worry and started to put aloe on it. the aloe fixed the issue but what tips do u have so this doesnt keep happening?? like i said, her body sheds fine.

What is her diet/humidity in the cage from what I can tell a good diet is very important to help sheds Kirby's tail comes off like a snake lol

diet is key. when we had the same problem and mineral oil and baby oil was not doing the trick we gave our tegu chicken liver and cod liver oil to balance out vitamins and no more shed problems

It's not going to help if you only do it when she is shedding. It needs to become part of the regular diet in order to make a difference.

I noticed since I been giving Godzilla salmon as part of his diet he has been shedding better even wit the stuck tail shed
