how large does the box need to be??

My 3 1/2 ft 7 lb tegu came in a 12"x10"x8".

so, my 1.5 ft tegu needs to be in one about half the size?

Big enough for a curled up tegu to comfortably fit in, and adjust if needed. My 43" male came in a 14x14x14 box.
