so kamanchii has been digging under his basking rocks and all around it for the past few days. But today I noticed on the back of his head his scales look grey and pink could it be from the rocks scratching him? I just don't know if this is a skin problem or not please let me know wat you think?? Thank u

It can be one of my females will scratch and claw and beat herself up to get out the cage just to sit on the couch. She has scales like that from where she made herself bleed. But a picture would def help cause it could be something elae

It could be scratches. However, it kind of looks like burns. When you say basking rocks, are they heated rocks or just rocks where you are shining light on them. Either way, they look superficial right now and they will probably heal up without a trace. However, you should keep the wounds clean and keep an eye on them. If after you change the rock/living conditions and they appear worse or appear to be getting infected, you will need to take him to a vet.

How heavy is your rock? lol.
I would say it looks fine to me, not a big deal. it should be gone when it gets next shed.
