in my enclosure i uses eco earth and moss which is usually damp to keep humidity high. Sometime 2 or 3 times when i fed him a cricket got loose. So ther apparently were 2 or 3 crickets that ive never seen after those times i fed him and now theres little baby crickets all over the tank! and im positive there crickets! there really small, jump, and look exactly the same! and they can get out! and i cant just change the substrate because i just usd my last eco earth brick and waiting for more in the mail, what should i do?!?!?

Change it out anyways, there isnt going to be a way of getting all the little crickets out otherwise. You can use paper towels with an old tshirt to burrow in just until your substrate comes in the mail. Be sure to vacume around the edges for any stray crickets and throw the garbage bag outside, dont leave it sitting around or you will get them in the house too

Easy easy easy solution!!

Go get some dry ice, seal the vents and everything in the cage the best you can and put the ice in there the Co2 will kill them off rapidly

Doubt it'll work with mites they can take much higher Co2 levels crickets are crazy sensitive.

For a tegu cage probably 7-10 pounds

thats the coolest idea ever! wher can i find dry i ice? and hes actually a baby sav in a 30 gall (dont worry even though its in a tank i still have 130 deg basking spot, and 60-70 humidity because ive got like 2 feet of eco earth moss and sand and the plexi glass on top)

Just seal the tank with seran wrap and put it in most grocery stores sell it. Obviously take the sav out first (and that cage way to small)
